FULL BIOPaul Swigart is the CEO and a Founding Principal of Xtellus Partners. Mr. Swigart is also the Founding Principal of Steep Rock Capital and Steep Rock Ventures, through which he has extensive experience investing in private equity and venture capital both in the US and internationally.
From 2010-2018, Mr. Swigart was the CEO of the US operations of VTB Capital. Earlier in his career, Mr. Swigart held several investment banking and portfolio management roles with CS First Boston, Omega Advisors, Scudder Kemper and United Financial Group in New York, London, Mexico City and Moscow.
Mr. Swigart currently serves as a non-executive director on the Boards of a number of private companies, including Eccentex Corp, OnSpot Data, AdXcelerant and Kuraakani Nimbuzz.
Previously, Mr. Swigart served as a non-executive director on the Board of two publicly listed companies, ASBISc Enterprises and EOS Russia. Mr. Swigart graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University with certificates in Russian Studies and Latin American Studies.
